The Salamanca Wool ShopWe are the Salamanca Wool Shop and we sell wool. Wool in many forms - fine, boiled, felted, knitted, dyed, or blended with other fibres. In the forms of clothing or yarn. Don’t despair as in summer we dip into the cotton, linen and silk fibres for our summer garments.

Shelley Husband Crochet I first learned to crochet as a child, and it wasn’t until almost 40 years later that I made my next granny square. And, you guessed it, shortly after that square, I realised that I had found “my thing”.

Now, more than ten years on, I’ve published eleven books! Each book bringing a new wave of excitement, especially when I connect with old and new faces in my online community and workshops. I’m always blown away by how quickly each pattern is picked up and already part of a project in progress.

Bombed YarnsAll Bombed Yarns fibres are dyed in our little North Hobart working studio.

The Bombed Yarns studio sits inside what used to be a store space for Cadbury's cocoa beans! Now the warehouse is occupied by an engineering business, and we have a cosy little corner too. It's a beautiful juxtaposition - the industrial mechanics outside, and my warm, woolly studio nestled inside.  16 Smith Street, North Hobart, Tasmania 7018

Australian Organic Wool Australian Organic Wool is a family operated business located in Newcastle, New South Wales.  The business was created by Mel McMillan after a fruitless search for an Australian organic wool yarn with which to knit for her children.  Our yarns are spun from certified organic or biodynamic Australian merino fleece wool and are processed in accordance with organic standards.

Auburncraft Crochet Design  - Led by designer Sue, celebrates colour, texture and thoughtful construction. Known for signature dragonfly motifs and intricate floral details, her patterns feel a little magical and refreshingly different, created for makers who value creativity, craftsmanship and truly distinctive crochet pieces.
