Hosted at Deakin University's Waterfront Campus, this special weekend will bring together crochet enthusiasts from across Australia and beyond to learn, connect, create and celebrate the craft we love. We are delighted to welcome international designer Tatsiana of Lilla Björn Crochet as our special guest. As planning gets underway, we invite passionate members of our community to help shape the Convention by teaching, presenting, volunteering or exhibiting in the Yarn Market. Not a member yet? Teach a WorkshopShare your skills and inspire fellow crocheters by teaching a workshop at Crochet Convention 2027. We are seeking workshop proposals that offer attendees the opportunity to learn something new, build confidence and explore new techniques. | Present a Program SessionDo you have a story, idea or area of expertise that would interest the crochet community? We are looking for engaging presentations to complement our workshop program and offer attendees new perspectives on crochet and the wider fibre arts world. Topics may be educational, inspiring, creative or community focused. Presentations provide an opportunity to share knowledge, spark conversations and connect with fellow crocheters. If you have something worth sharing, we encourage you to submit an application. |
Volunteer with the Convention TeamCrochet Convention is made possible by the generous support of volunteers. We are looking for enthusiastic people to assist during the planning stages and throughout the Convention weekend. Opportunities include workshop support, attendee assistance, registration, room monitoring and general event operations. | Exhibit in the Yarn MarketOur Yarn Market will showcase a wonderful variety of businesses, makers and suppliers serving the crochet and fibre arts community. We welcome applications from vendors offering yarn, tools, accessories, patterns, kits and other fibre-related products. The market provides an opportunity to connect directly with attendees, share your products and become part of one of Australia's premier crochet events.
